Is there a limit to the number of times the jackpot can roll over?
There is no limit to the number of times the jackpot can roll over, however, once the jackpot reaches €90 million, it is capped at this amount and any extra money that would have been added to the jackpot is diverted to the Match 5 and 1 Euro Number prize tier, which also has a cap of €90 million.
When Eurojackpot started in March 2012, the jackpot could only roll over 12 times until it had to be won in the following draw. If no players matched the entire winning line in the 13th draw, the entire jackpot would roll down and be distributed among winning players in the next-highest prize tier.
