James Stocklas / $291.4 million
Florida – The Florida Lottery announces that the sole winner of the $291.4 million POWERBALL jackpot from the drawing held on Wednesday, March 2, claimed the prize at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. The winner, James Stocklas, 67, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, chose to receive the winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment in the amount of $191,470,307.58.
The Nickel 95 Trust / $528.7 Million
Florida – At a press conference today, the Florida Lottery announced that the Florida winner from the $1.5 billion POWERBALL jackpot drawing held on January 13, claimed one-third share of the jackpot at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. The $528.7 million prize was claimed by The Nickel 95 Trust. The trustee is Maureen Smith, 70, of Melbourne Beach.

Tennessee – After a whirlwind trip to New York City for a visit with The Today Show, the Tennessee winners of one-third of the historic, world record-breaking Powerball jackpot of $1.58 BILLION arrived at Tennessee Lottery headquarters in Nashville today to claim their share of the prize, an incredible $528.8 million.
Lisa and John Robinson of Munford, along with their daughter Tiffany and dog Abby, were greeted at the door by Tennessee Lottery President and CEO Rebecca Hargrove.
Marvin and Mae Acosta / $528 Million
California – After a wait of a little more than six months, Marvin and Mae Acosta, the winners of the largest lottery prize in California Lottery history, finally came forward to claim their prize. They were one of three big winners of prizes worth $528.8 million from the January 13th Powerball jackpot of nearly $1.6 billion. The other two tickets were sold in Tennessee and Florida.
Julie Leach / $310.5 Million
Michigan – The dream of being a Lottery jackpot winner has come true for a Three Rivers woman who won a $310.5 million Powerball jackpot from the Michigan Lottery.
Julie Leach, 50, matched all of the winning numbers drawn in the Sept. 30 Powerball drawing: 21-39-40-55-59 and the Powerball, 17, to win the enormous jackpot. Leach’s big win marks the third time a Michigan player has won the Powerball jackpot. The $310.5 million jackpot is the second-largest ever won in the state.
Willie Nelson / $110 Million
California – Willie Nelson – no, not *that* one – has been married almost 38 years and he knows a healthy marriage is a partnership. So when his wife asked him to go to the store this past Saturday (Aug 1) and get some bacon, he did. That good deed made him $110 million richer after buying a ticket and winning the Powerball jackpot from that evening’s draw.
Tom Rea / $70 Million
Missouri – Patience is a virtue. At least that’s the case for a St. Louis man, who after two decades of playing the same Powerball numbers – a combination of family birthdays – is now reveling in a big jackpot win. The special numbers picked by Tom Rea, 62, matched all five white-ball numbers, as well as the Powerball, in the July 4 drawing to win the $70 million jackpot prize. He and his wife, Cathy, claimed the prize at Lottery headquarters in Jefferson City on July 24.
“I’ve been playing those numbers every Wednesday and every Saturday for 23 years,” Rea shared.
Orencia Barzey / $80 Million
Floria – The Florida Lottery announces that Orencia Barzey, 37, of Lauderhill, claimed the $80 million jackpot prize for the POWERBALL drawing held on Saturday, June 20, 2015. Barzey chose to receive the winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $49,566,294.92.
“I was very shocked when I checked the Lottery’s website and the numbers on my ticket matched what was on the screen,” said Barzey. “I don’t plan on changing much about my lifestyle, but I do plan on helping my family with my winnings.”
Michael Duncan / $50 Million
Tennessee – A quick visit to a Harriman convenience store became the trip of a lifetime for a Knox County man who claimed a $50 million Powerball jackpot prize today at the Tennessee Lottery’s Nashville headquarters.
Alice Dawson / $80 Million
Florida – The Florida Lottery announces that Alice Dawson, 60, of Frisco City, Alabama, claimed the $80 million jackpot prize for the POWERBALL drawing held on Saturday, April 11, 2015. Dawson chose to receive the winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $53,440,213.76
“This is a blessing in our lives and proves that anything is possible with faith in God,” said Dawson. “We plan on using our winnings to help our friends, family and our church.”
